| Temporary EH&S Manager - On a part-time basis for a period of five months, Dewling Associates staffed a vacant Environmental Health and Safety Manager position for a heavy industry client, while efforts were underway to recruit for the vacant position. During this period, in addition to assisting with regulatory compliance inspections that took place, a large number of annual, semiannual, and quarterly compliance filings became due. Working with corporate and facility management, Dewling Associates completed all items in a timely manner without incident. Following recruitment, for an additional period we remained with the Client’s recruited manager to assure a smooth transition. |
Industrial Environmental/Safety Partner - For more than a decade, Dewling Associates has worked seamlessly to supplement a major corporation’s Environmental Health and Safety Management. We provide proactive and on-demand consulting support, both at the corporate and at the Plant level. Our efforts also focused on liability assessment during acquisitions, as this manufacturer transitioned from having only two local plants, to one having nearly 30 manufacturing plants throughout the U.S.A. and Europe. |
External Occupational Safety Auditing - As part of an ongoing management initiative involving regular change-out of auditors, Dewling Associates was selected to perform third party occupational heath and safety audits for a heavy industry client that has facilities in four states located across the entire country. Existing audit formats were modified for the type of industry, and were expanded and improved following each Plant audit. Audits were performed by a team of two senior auditors that we consistently fielded. On more than one occasion Plant personnel commented that the audit was the most comprehensive and professionally performed that they had experienced. Our contract was extended twice, resulting in audits being preformed for a total of three years. |
Professional Training - Day-long training that must be taken annually to maintain certification can be tedious and difficult to endure. Professionals at other consulting firms have repeatedly called on Dewling Associates to provide annual HAZWOPER training that is fresh and informative, with a minimum of lost productive time. We have been able to provide training that improves professionally relevant skills, while meeting the requirements for re-certification. |
